Perhaps, one side of the banana grows much faster than the other side...



So to compensate for its unusual growth, curvature occurs...



If you will ask why one side will grow faster...only the Almighty knows...

guess it kinda naturally bends down as it grows larger and heavier on the plant, cause if it grew straihgt from the place it is attached to the plant, it would awkwardly point outwards too sharply for no good reason. So the bananas rather point to the ground and this way probably also the water runs off them better when it rains. You happen to have some banana fixation or what????

why ask... do u have any problem with curved bananas? mine is slightly curved too and i don't have any problem with that and my wife loves to eat it...

beleive it or not, i have seen straight bananas. but they r the same except that they r not curved....
